I just started with a very rough sketch of the kitchen, it originally won't look like that, but just get a sense of the initial design.
The red arrows are just showing the step-by-step concept to the bugs journey through the kitchen.
A quick sketch of the characters storyboard, Larry the cockroach VS the kitchen. I just needed an idea of where i could take this character & some how incorporate it in the environment. So i added a few notes, on composition shots, layout & where Larry (C) could get into mischief, with kitchen equipments/Utensils etc.
First rough sketch of environment, briefly outline the camera shots & layout.
